A Weekend of Love Stories in Lafayette and Pleasanton
This past weekend, the San Francisco Brass Band shared two memorable performances of Love Stories—first at Acalanes High School in Lafayette on Saturday, September 20, and then at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pleasanton on Sunday, September 21. Close to 250 patrons joined us over the two concerts, filling each venue with wonderful energy and enthusiasm.
Audiences were thrilled by the full sound of the band and the expressive performances throughout the program. Many of the pieces featured soloists, all of whom played with beauty and artistry, bringing extra depth to the music. We were also delighted to introduce our new Solo Horn player, Edwin Cordoba. As the music director at Acalanes High School, Edwin was warmly welcomed—especially by many of his students and their parents who came to hear him perform.
It was a joy to share this music with our community, and we are grateful to everyone who attended and supported the concerts. Love Stories was a celebration of music, talent, and connection—and we look forward to seeing you at our next performance!
